King’s College is a renowned professional British education brand around the globe. Established in the 19th Century, King’s College has a rich history and has been imparting quality education in the UK. Renowned for its rich history of quality and success in the UK, King’s has expanded its reach in recent years to other parts of the globe: we have, over the last few years, partnered and established thriving British schools in countries such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia and also have mature plans in development for Egypt.

Capitalising on the success of wonderful schools in these regions, King’s College, UK has also partnered with Global Educational Venture (GEV), Dubai, and granted them the exclusive rights to establish King’s College UK schools in India, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Nepal, Singapore and South Korea in the first instance. There is a shared ambition to expand into other regions after phase one.

These phase one plans are now moving forward at a pace and I am delighted that in North India, the first King’s College, UK school with GEV is to be established as in Gurugram. A lot of hard work has already been invested to reach this important point in our journey and it is my privilege to extend my warmest congratulations to all members of the School community as we embark on this exciting adventure together.

As Chair of the Board of Governors of King’s College UK, I am proud to share and celebrate the excellence that comes with being part of our exceptional community. Our brand offers a tested record of achievement in academics and sports, an enduring recognition for high calibre and innovative teaching and learning, all within a supportive, caring community of like-minded educators dedicated to the advancement of our pupils.

The establishment of King’s College, Gurugram as the inaugural collaboration between King’s College UK and GEV, reflects the strength of our partnership, and we’re excited to be part of the journey to establish, with GEV, a family of such high quality schools under our name. The School Council (governing body) is committed to making this partnership a success, and I am confident that all our collective efforts, will lead to King’s College, UK schools being centres of excellence and prosperity.
