Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Class Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. As an Early Years Class Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of students aged 3 to 6.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement a play-based, child-centred curriculum that promotes exploration, discovery, and critical thinking.
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports the holistic growth of each child.
  • Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining regular communication and collaboration.
  • Assess and document student progress through observations, formative assessments, and personalized learning plans.
  • Integrate movement, creative arts, and hands-on activities into daily lessons to encourage active learning and development.
  • Ensure a seamless transition for students progressing from Early Years to Primary Years, building a solid foundation for future learning.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s vibrant community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Education
  • Master’s Degree
  • Teaching certification/license relevant to Early Years education.
  • Candidates should either be qualified IB PYP teachers or willing to undertake the PYP IB Teacher Training.
  • Experience in teaching early childhood education, preferably in an international or diverse setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.
