Role Overview:

The experienced and passionate Subject Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction. The teacher should inspire students through a stimulating learning environment that promotes inquiry, reflection, and conceptual understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons
  • Integrate interdisciplinary links and global contexts into teaching
  • Use a variety of assessment strategies to inform learning and differentiate instruction
  • Design formative and summative assessments
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and report to parents as required
  • Participate in student-led conferences and parent-teacher meetings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues for transdisciplinary units and grade-level planning.
  • Participate in training workshops and internal PD sessions
  • Contribute to curriculum review and school improvement initiatives
  • Support student well-being and personal development through advisory or homeroom responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support where necessary and ensure inclusion
  • Maintain required documentation including unit plans, assessment tasks, and feedback
  • Follow school policies related to academic integrity, safety, and code of conduct

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area (Master’s preferred).
  • Certified teacher with experience in the IB MYP (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Proficient in educational technology and blended learning practices.
